Benefits and drawbacks

Being an interim manager has many advantages. The interim management profession offers relative freedom, removing office politics while allowing you to independently manage your work/downtime balance, and constantly provides variety and new challenges.

Like all good things, however, Interim Executive Management also has a few drawbacks:

  • Availability for geographic mobility
  • Varying activity levels: intense assignment periods alternate with downtime
